Mazda CX-30 is available in 8 different colors - Deep Blue Metallic, Jet Black Mica, Grey Metallic, Polymetal Grey Metallic, Snowflake White Pearl Mica, Sonic Silver, Red and Titanium Flash Mica.
The Mazda CX-30 is one unique and lifestyle-oriented crossover positioned between two practical family-oriented SUVs, the CX-3 and CX-5. Aimed at those who prefer style and distinctive looks, the Mazda CX-30 is available with one standard powertrain in three variants – Classic, Elegance, and Luxury. The eight colour options for the Mazda CX-30 are Soul Red Crystal, Machine Grey, Sonic Silver, Jet Black Mica, Titanium Flash, Deep Crystal Blue, Snowflake White, and Polymetal Grey.
The Mazda CX-30, being one of the latest generation Mazdas on sale, gets the most modern cockpit from the Japanese carmaker, which focuses on more minimalism and higher grade of quality, fit and finish levels and equipment on board. One does get three options of leather upholstery for the interior cabin – dark blue, white, and black.
Compared to the rest of the extrovert design of the car, the driver’s cockpit of the Mazda CX-30 looks rather simple with plain-looking dials for the instrument console and a subtle looking leather-wrapped three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel.
The rest of the dashboard looks minimalist with a sleek panel flowing across the width of the dashboard, which houses slim AC vents within it. It divides the dashboard into two – the upper layer of the dashboard is finished in soft-touch leather and also sneaks in a wide LCD infotainment system in a scooped in panel. The lower dashboard gets very small but intuitive panel for the dual-zone automatic climate control buttons. The transmission tunnel gets premium looking piano black finish and premium looking knobs and switches.
The Mazda CX-30 might not be an out-and-out SUV in terms of its looks, but it is this distinctive crossover design of it which makes it look standout from the crowd. The overall design is sleek and aerodynamic, with the stance making it look like a jacked-up hatchback on stilts.
The front fascia of the Mazda CX-30 is an evolved form of that of the other Mazdas on sale, and comes with the same rounded grille with tapered chrome edges and slim LED headlamps, although in a much sleeker form with a more contoured front bonnet.Â
The side profile, as in other SUVs from Mazda, looks much rounded and curvy, with a nice flowing coupe-like roofline and big rounded wheel arches, contoured bonnet, and door-mounted rearview mirrors making it look sporty. However, the oversized body cladding all around looks a bit disproportionate. Like the CX-5, the Mazda CX-30 also gets a nice characteristic flowing line from the front headlamp to the rear door.
At the rear, the Mazda CX-30 has got its own individualistic design, which has a wide curve flowing across the width of the rear hatch, above the slightly higher positioned license plate housings. The wing-like LED tail lamps are bigger and even sleeker than in other Mazda offerings.
Given its sporty aura in terms of design, one can naturally expect the Mazda CX-30 to be a driver’s car, and to some extent, it delivers on that front pretty well. The Mazda CX-30 gets Macpherson struts at the front and torsion beam axle at the rear, which along with well-weighted steering setup, are finely tuned to make it a driver’s delight.
The only engine and gearbox combination which the Mazda CX-30 has been fitted with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is coupled to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. This powertrain has been shared with that in the Mazda CX-5, and here too, it develops 165 PS of maximum power output and 213 Nm of peak torque output.
The Mazda CX-30 shares its list of safety features with the Mazda CX-5, and gets dynamic stability control, traction control, adaptive LED headlamps, front cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, 360-degree view monitor, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, smart brake support, cruising and traffic support, radar cruise control, distance and speed alert, driver attention alert, front and rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and front, side, curtain and knee airbags.
From the point of view of sporty looks and performance, without compromising much on practicality and price aspects, the Mazda CX-30 makes up for a great affordable lifestyle vehicle.
This car is pretty tall in size and looks way more rugged than I expected from Mazda. There is a curvaceous feel to its exterior which is absolutely spell binding. The cabin inside exudes a premium feel too. This has the capacity to be considered as a subcompact luxurious crossover. The car is a fabulous option with its agile handling
The car looks and exudes a sense of brilliance with its sculpted exterior and premium looking cabin inside. Its major attraction is its upscale appearance which is at par with many top branded four-wheelers. Another striking point is the premium aura that one will feel the moment he gets inside. Handling wise the vehicle is way more agile and it
I have always had a thing for Small SUVs as they are very convenient and practical cars with the appealing looks of an SUV. As I was looking to purchase a car last month, I came across the Mazda CX-30 and read many reviews about it online. Considering the good reviews achieved by the vehicle, I finally decided to move
I bought the Mazda CX30 when my son, who is now going to college, would not stop whining about the car. At first, even I was skeptical about this purchase, but all of that changed when I got the opportunity to take it out for a drive. The vehicle seemed perfect as itr featured the ideal combination of both safety,
In my opinion, Mazda excels in aesthetically designing pleasing cars. Mazda's CX-30 is no exception in this regard. In fact, it's the kind of ride that's currently enticing modern professionals would look for in a car. What I want to talk about is a trim body with toned, athletic lines and an attractive exterior. With its capabilities and price, the
I have used quite a few Mazda cars already and none could please me design-wise as much as this one does. The Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 are very attractive in design, but they don’t come close to this CX-30 crossover/SUV. It is not different from other Mazda cars at this price for the performance and features. However, what really
I was thinking to buy a car for my daily commute purpose that's when my friend suggested me to go for this Mazda CX 30. Since he has a good knowledge of cars I immediately opted for Mazda CX 30 on his recommendation. And I would proudly accept the fact that he was completely right about this car. It is
The design of the Mazda CX 30 is just mind-blowing and I have never seen a similar design statement at this price point. It is like buying a premium car at half of its price. There were no second thoughts before buying it and I am very happy with my purchase. The build quality of this vehicle is top-notch and
I have always wanted to buy a car that exudes luxury and looks like a premium car but did not have a huge budget to spare. At one point of time I even considered Honda Civic as an option, but that was before I took a test drive of the Mazda CX-30. This car has changed my taste of cars.
I had been comparing the Honda HR-V and the newer CX-30 from Mazda. I settled for the CX-30, considering the overall package offered by the vehicle at an extremely attractive price tag. The price tag is more attractive when the premium features along with the powerful 2.5 liters turbocharged engine are taken into consideration. While I chose the vehicle for
