This five-door luxury car from BMW will soon be updated for the Singapore market. It is expected that the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe will get a 48V mild-hybrid system for 2021. As of now, this high-performance car from the German automaker is available at a starting price of $ 194,888. The mid-life revision of the 4-Series Gran Coupe presented minor cosmetic tweaks and a slight adjustment to the suspension. The suspension setup is stiffer, better to deal with cornering forces while improving all-around road holding. The facelift also featured a number of standard features, such as full LED headlights, digital instrumentation, and the latest ConnectedDrive functions (seen in the 5-Series). The 4 Series Gran Coupe has an elegant design - its front end is sleek, thanks to its slim headlights, while the wide rear end manages to avoid looking heavy. The cabin is BMW-familiar, with an updated iDrive system in place. The base variant of the Gran Coupe, the 420i Sport, is powered by a 4-cylinder, in-line, 16-valve, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 181 HP max power and 270 Nm peak torque. The steering wheel is wrapped in premium quality leather, that offers a better grip to the driver. All the multi-function buttons are mounted on the steering. The latest version of BMW's iDrive infotainment system, together with the updated digital instrument cluster and ConnectedDrive functions, has been added as standard to this car. Additionally, the instrument panel gets double stitching while the new electroplated detailing and chrome applications place emphasis on the overall high-quality feel of the car.

The 4 Series Gran Coupe looks sleek and sporty. The 4 Series Gran Coupe feels immediately sportier than the 3 Series, despite its added dimensions and weight. With a stiffer suspension now, double wishbones at the front and multi-link at the rear, the Gran Coupe offers better corner carving and a strong sense of stability that instils a whole lot of confidence to the driver. The optional variable steering improves the steering accuracy to provide easy maneuvering around tight curves and placing it on narrower roads without any difficulties. The intelligent BMW xDrive all-wheel-drive system smoothly and variably distributes drive power to the front and rear wheels for maximum traction.
4 Series Gran Coupe Engine & Fuel Consumption
Powering the base variant, the 420i Sport, is a 4-cylinder, in-line, 16-valve, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 181 hp max power and 270 Nm peak torque. This power is transferred to the wheels through an eight-speed Steptronic transmission setup. The Automatic Start/Stop function switches off the engine when the vehicle comes to a temporary standstill to save fuel. Moreover, with the help of the Driving Experience Control, the driver can choose between different driving modes - the standard Comfort mode, the more efficient EcoPro mode, the Sport and the Sport+ modes.
