Another exciting teaser of the Mazda CX-60 surfaces

We are already pretty stoked about the upcoming Mazda CX-60, and the Japanese carmaker is well aware of that! Ahead of the March 8 debut date, Mazda has released yet another exciting teaser for the upcoming vehicle. We get to see small glimpses of the premium SUV's elegance from a sneak-peek into its side profile. 

We have already been speculating a lot about the upcoming vehicle, and with the new teaser, we have confirmed several of those rumors. We have been keeping our hopes up about the exciting styling details, and it looks like we got a lot of them correct. The vehicle will indeed be equipped with the Mazda special upswept window line, huge two-tone alloy wheels, fake fender vents, a daytime running LED light strip, and small dual-tiered headlights. 

The Mazda CX-60 is built on a new rear-wheel-drive platform with a short front overhang and a longer bonnet. The upcoming US-only CX-90 and CX-70 will also receive a similar rear-wheel-drive and front-engine architecture. 

The new design looks spectacular with Mazda's Kodo design language. As we know, Mazda will be following a concept of "less is more". They have enhanced the subtle dynamic beauty of the vehicle with a softly reflective white paint, made especially for the CX-60. 

Coming to the engine, Mazda has confirmed that the vehicle will be a plug-in hybrid vehicle. It will receive an electric motor and a four-cylinder 2.5L petrol engine. Combined, the power output will be somewhere above 300 hp. 

Lastly, there has been no new insight into the vehicle's interior design. However, we know from a previous trailer that it will have a blend of chrome trim, Nappa leather, Japanese fabrics, and maple wood. The stitching will also follow the Japanese bookbinding methods. 

Being the first model from Mazda's Large Product group, we have very high hopes from the CX-60. We hope to know more by next week upon the vehicle's launch. Till then, stay tuned!
