The flagship MUV from Honda all over the world, the Odyssey is available in the Philippines too as the best form of a seven-seater Honda vehicle aimed at providing the utmost comfort to the inner occupants. In the Philippines, the Honda Odyssey is available in two different variants – EX and EX-V, which are being offered with a standard powertrain and a range of three colour options – Platinum White, Twinkle Black, and Super Platinum.
The cabin on the inside of the Honda Odyssey has a sense of richness and supreme fit and finish, which makes it a proper luxurious place to be in. The cabin gets an all-black theme, which along with silver-finished bits at places, looks quite good.
The multifunctional steering wheel as well as a comprehensive instrument console with a large centrally placed speedometer is a combination that is not shared with any other Honda in terms of design.
The centre console of the dashboard of the Honda Odyssey is in a two-layered form. The upper one houses a rectangular touchscreen infotainment system in between two trapezoidal AC vents with silver border. On the other hand, the lower one is slightly placed at an angle and comes with the transmission lever and a dedicated console for the buttons of automatic climate control. This lower layer of the dashboard is finished in a unique looking dark faux wood with a smooth layer of silver finish on its lower boundary.
The Honda Odyssey gets full black leather upholstery for its seats in all the three rows, with captain seats in the middle row. These captain seats offer supreme comfort and flexibility with angles of recline and separate cushioned footboards below.
The Honda Odyssey is one of the best and most proportional looking MUVs of the current generation, which has a sense of uniformity and modernity in its entire design, making it look appealing and premium.
The front profile of the Honda Odyssey looks quite aerodynamic with a sloping bonnet and a slightly tapered front grille, the upper part of which gets the traditional thick chrome slab and the lower portion which slightly protrudes further with horizontal slabs on it. The trapezoidal all-LED headlamps flanking the upper chrome slab too is very much as per the traditional Honda design theme. The placement and design of the LED daytime running lamps and its housing look attractive too.
The low slung stance and long wheelbase of the Honda Odyssey looks suave, and with the help of machined alloy wheels and chrome finished door handles and door-mounted rearview mirrors, it takes the style statement even higher. The Honda Odyssey gets a couple of conventional MUV bits like sliding doors and large side window panels.
At the rear, the Honda Odyssey gets a pair of large tail lamps with LED inserts, which are tapering downwards and has a V-shaped cut on its inner edges. The sleek chrome finish above the license plate housing and roof spoiler above the large rear windshield round off the look at the rear.
The Honda Odyssey aims at providing the utmost levels of comfort and plushness in its ride quality, which it somewhat achieves, thanks to a well-sorted suspension setup of Macpherson struts at the front and torsion beam at the rear. The seats provide nice under-thigh support and the comfort is only enhanced by more than enough room for all the three rows.
The only engine and transmission combination employed for the Honda Odyssey is a 2.4-litre four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine coupled to a CVT gearbox as standard. The engine is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 175 PS, while the peak torque output is rated at 226 Nm.
On board, the safety features available in the Honda Odyssey are front, side, and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, vehicle stability assist, multi-view reverse camera with sensors, hill start assist, emergency stop signal and many more.
The Honda Odyssey is pretty conventional in its purpose as well as mechanicals under the skin but somehow manages to be appealing with the slightly out of the box design which never looks over the top at all.
I was quite intrigued about the model when my cousin bought it. This is a very cute little van which I may have come across and finally I also ended up buying the car. It is popular in the segment, both for its super comfortable performance as well as ultra-spacious interior. With a few riding sessions, I could realize how

The car has the capacity to score high ranking as a minivan class. Its performance is not only engaging but is equally comfortable as well. The interior portion is offering more than adequate space. I am delighted that this vehicle is offering a genuinely powerful engine. The serenity of its driving capacity is again a breathtaking notion that I should

Honda Odyssey is a perfect car if you want something more than just space from an MPV. It is comfortable for both the front seater and back passengers. Serving generous spacing for both head and leg along with a low seat profile. It is very helpful, especially for children and elderly people. I even like its appearance; it is pretty
The Honda Odyssey is a really spacious family hauler and is an ideal car if you want a bit more from an MPV. It’s comfortable for all passengers with generous headroom and legroom. Irrespective of what you call the Honda Odyssey, SUV, van, or wagon, I will call it a luxurious ride. It does not look like a van at all and the luxurious appeal is evident right from the first glimpse. Here’s a very important feature this van has. I forget to lock the car often, since I have my own garage
It is tough to find a vehicle that ensures comfortable riding to the driver and comfort to all its passengers equally. I have a big family of six, and ensuring each one's comfort is my responsibility. Hence, I was looking for a spacious MUV to fit my family; that’s when I found Odyssey by Honda. What I like the most
The Odyssey is quite a decent car in my opinion. It offers seamless driving performance and is very pocket-friendly to manage. After riding it for eight months now, what I can say is that it is a comfortable minivan offering ample space for both passengers and cargo. If you compare this car with other SUVs, it is comparatively cheaper than
The Honda Odyssey falls under an unique category. You can call it an MPV, a minivan or a people mover. It’s big and plush inside, leading to a comfortable and relaxed drive. In fact the second row almost feels like riding a limo. Even the last row offers great comfort and can be reclined. The Odyssey is both practical and
