This new latest iteration of the Volkswagen Touareg has ditched the bulbous and curvy profile of its previous iteration and now wear a much sleeker and glitzier personality.

The front fascia of the Volkswagen Touareg gets a very sharp looking chrome grille, which looks huge due to the presence of multiple chrome slats stacked one over the other. The full LED headlamps of the Touareg lool like an integral part of the front grille, as it is partly engulfed on the upper edges of the grille. A sleek chrome lining flows below the central air dam on the front bumper, with C-shaped housings for the corners of the front bumper rounding off the aggressive-looking front.

The five-link Macpherson struts at the front and five-link rear axle at the back of the Volkswagen Touareg are air controlled, which in sync with the dynamic damping control with Normal, Comfort, Off-road and Special Off-road drive modes work fantastically in giving a calm and composed character to the SUV across all terrains. The all-wheel steering, as well as a 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system, also play a major role in making the Touareg a go-anywhere vehicle.

The Volkswagen Touareg sources its thrust from a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is available with an all-wheel-drive configuration as well as 8-speed automatic gearbox as standard.
