Subaru Levorg Interior & Features

While the Subaru Levorg has an impressive and modern exterior design, the same levels of impression are not generated by the interior cabin of the car. The vehicle looks a bit dated with a very staid looking layout for all the bits, though the good levels of equipment do make up for the compromise here.

The entire center console of the Subaru Levorg’s interior cabin is shaped in a vertically laid trapezoidal housing, and in this, it accommodates rectangular AC vents at the top, a rectangular touchscreen infotainment system with piano black surrounds in the middle and three rotary like dials for the climate control.

At the top of the center console is a scooped housing, which accommodates multiple off-road gauges and also doubles up as a multi-angle vision assist, which is a nice addition here. The simple layered design for the dashboard has an all-black cabin which gets piano black touches in the center and on door panels.

Levorg Exterior

The Subaru Levorg has a sense of communalism and aggressiveness in a single package, for the car can exude different characters from different angles. This particular attempt of mixed design languages surely gives the Subaru Levorg a good visual appeal.

From the front, the Subaru Levorg looks low slung and sporty, for the sloping bonnet, which also houses a wide air scoop, flows down quite low to the front fascia. The front fascia in question here is a combination of a hexagonal grille which is a traditional trait of all Subarus, and here in the Subaru Levorg, it gets chrome surrounds for the entire grille.

The eyebrow shaped headlamps, which do come with smoked effect and house LED projectors and C-shaped daytime running LEDs, are positioned slightly behind the side edges of the front grille. Just below the headlamps on the front bumper are placed large fog lamp housings, which has a partitioned design and comes with a sleek chrome garnish in the middle.

For a station wagon, the Subaru Levorg looks quite sleek and curvy from the sides, with flared and curved fenders over the wheel arches adding some visual drama to the side profile. The doors and window panels of the Subaru Levorg look quite simple, though the door mounted rear view mirrors and the large diamond cut alloy wheels add some sporty persona to the vehicle.

The Subaru Levorg’s major highlight at the rear easily happens to be the unique looking sweptback tail lamps, which have curved outer design and C-shaped LED inserts towards inside. These tail lamps are adjoined by a sleek chrome garnish, and that completes the simple looking rear profile of the Subaru Levorg.

Subaru Levorg Ride & Handling

The Subaru Levorg has Bilstein MacPherson struts inverted lower L-arms with coil springs and stabiliser bar at the front and Bilstein damper Double wishbone with coil springs and stabiliser bar at the rear. This overall suspension has been tuned to impart a sporty character in the way it rides and handles.

Levorg Engine & Fuel Consumption

The powertrain of the Subaru Levorg is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which is coupled to a CVT gearbox and breathes out a maximum power output of 268 PS and a peak torque output of 350 Nm. The vehicle comes standard with an all-wheel-drive setup with variable torque distribution.

Subaru Levorg Braking & Safety

The Subaru Levorg impresses in another area quite massively, and that is the safety aspect. The station wagon comes loaded with front, side and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, traction control, active torque vectoring, auto vehicle hold, rearview camera, side view monitor, blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, rear cross-traffic alert, high beam assist, front view monitor and front, side, curtain and knee airbags.

Levorg Verdict

The Subaru Levorg not only is spacious and practical as the conventional station wagons, but it also succeeds in impressing with its exterior appeal and oodles of comfort, convenience and safety equipment on offer.
