Leaked photos of 2022 BMW iX M60 are here!

Recently, BMW fans rejoiced as they caught the leaked photos of the much-awaited BMW iX M60, days before its global debut. Being the second fully electric BMW M, we had a lot of expectations from this model, and looks like we are getting our wishes granted. Let’s see what the sneak peek tells us.

Firstly, the design of the upcoming model looks strikingly similar to the standard xDrive 50. Some visible changes include an M performance brake kit complete with blue capillers, concept XM-inspired monochromatic badges, and blacked-out alloy wheels. 

The interior too gets a slight upgrade and will now sport a predominantly dark theme with satinated trimmings and the traditional; anthracite headlining. Another exciting feature that might be included in the cabin is the Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System. It is the most advanced sound system made for EVs and customers will now be given a chance to have it included in their vehicle. 

From what we hear, the battery specifications for the iX M60 will remain the same as their predecessor. So, we can expect to see a large lithium-ion 105.2 kWh battery. While the xDrive 40 provides a range of 630 km with this battery, the M60 is likely to give a 500 km range with the same. 

Also, the upcoming BMW iX M60 might be delivering superb power at 630 PS. This is a considerable jump from the xDrive 50’s output of 523 PS. Naturally, we also expect its performance to supersede the xDrive 50’s in other aspects too like a better maximum speed than the previous 200 kmph or a higher sprint than xDrive 50’s 0-100 kmph run of 4.6 seconds.
